Birding Summer Schedule

Hello Lenawee Birders! Spring migration is winding down and instead of discovering new migrants everyday, we are now looking for songbirds that took their time, weeding through calls of flycatchers, and checking out breeding birds in our yard. For birders, this is the time of year where you’ve been there, seen that attitude starts and the rush is wearing off. So whats next? Starting Thursday, June 7th, get ready to bird different locations every week around Lenawee County from 6:00-8:00 p.m.. We will start the summer tour with a walk at Heritage Park in Adrian, meeting in the parking lot at the Stubnitz Environmental Educational Center. Birders, get your second wind and get back out there and bird again! There are still many summer species to find in Lenawee County and plenty of birds are breeding here, you just never know what is out there until you go out looking.
